NEBOSH, Qualification, Health and Safety

Who is it For?

NEBOSH's Certificate-level qualifications give a good foundation in health and safety for managers, supervisors and staff with health and safety among their day to day responsibilities.

How does it Work?

The courses are classroom based qualifications over a period of up to 12 days which can be delivered either at your site if numbers allow, or at various locations around the UK. Along with the classroom based element private study elements are also embedded into the courses.

NEBSOH Diploma is four modules; each module has differing learning hours and self learning requirements. Modules A, B, C are classroom taught with exams twice a year, Module D is Assignment based and undertaken by the student with mentoring from the tutor.

NEBOSH Certificates are classroom taught over varying periods, they are modular with NEBOSH NGC1 being the common Module this only needs to be taken once. The other modules can then be added to increase a person's knowledge base across the certificate level. Exams time schedules are set quarterly by NEBOSH but Local exams can be arranged to suit business needs.

What will I Gain?

The NEBOSH Certificate Level 3 qualification is fully gained when module NGC1 and another subject module is achieved. This award is widely taken as a first step towards a career in health and safety and is accepted by IOSH – in meeting the academic requirements for Technician Membership of IOSH (Tech IOSH), and Associate Member of IIRSM.

NEBOSH Diploma is the next step towards corporate level membership of IOSH and IIRSM. On successful completion of the Diploma Grad IOSH status can be applied for and then progression to CMIOSH.
