IOSH Managing Safely
Managing Safely comprises seven core modules requiring a total direct input period of at least 24 hours plus assessment time. The delivery can be spread over a convenient time span. One organisational specific module may be added if required.
Who is it For?
Managing Safely is designed for managers and supervisors in any sector, and any organisation. It is designed to bring managers up to date regarding the practical actions they need to take to handle health and safety in their teams.
How does it Work?
The course consists of a presentation, workshops, short case studies and a risk assessment project related to the workplace of the delegate.
The course is four days duration and can be delivered either at your site, if numbers allow, or at our training centre located in the West Midlands. Delegates are evaluated by means of a 45 minute written assessment paper consisting of 20 multi-choice questions.
At the end of the course a practical project is set to undertake a Risk Assessment. The delegate has a period of two weeks to return the project for marking. These marks are then included with the overall marking paper.
What will I Gain?
On completion of the course an IOSH Managing Safely Certificate is awarded to all those who successfully completed the written and practical risk assessment.
