Cleaning and Environmental Services Apprenticeship
The Apprenticeship in Cleaning and Environmental Services combines on-and-off-the job training that will enable an apprentice to operate appropriately and in accordance with the requirements of their employer and the needs of the business.
Who is it For?
The Apprenticeship Framework is designed to deliver skills training to anyone in work, existing employees who do not have vocational qualifications and young people who are new to the resource management industry.
How does it Work?
The apprenticeship framework comprises five elements as follows:
- Vocational Qualification mandatory and optional competence units from the QCF Level 2 Certificate in Cleaning and Support Services Skills
- Level 2 Certificate in Cleaning Principles – this is the knowledge element (technical certificate)
- Personal Learning & Thinking Skills (PLTS) England only
- Employment Rights & Responsibilities (ERR)
- Key Skills or Functional Skills (England) or Essential Skills (Wales)
