Non Statutory Street Cleansing and Support Services NVQ Qualifications

Suitable for:

All employees working within the cleaning of streets, public conveniences, highways and land.

Descriptions:

QSP Training offers this NVQ Award that serves to assess to a national standard, employees with the skills necessary to perform their role effectively. Each award can be tailored to the role an employee performs and covers all aspects of Street Cleansing and Support Services, including units concentrating on service delivery performance, health and safety and team working skills.

Method of Delivery:

Practical assessment of Candidates on-site competence, as observed by a qualified and experienced QSP Training Assessor.

Recognition:

Upon successful completion of this qualification. Candidates are presented with a Nationally recognised NVQ Certificate of Achievement along with their log book to keep as reference.

Designed for operatives involved in street cleansing and cleaning operations.

Mandatory Units - Candidates must demonstrate competence in:

Maintain service delivery

Ensure actions reduce risk to health and safety

Work as a member of a team

In addittion Candidates will also have to choose 3 optional units from an accredited list according to job responsibilities.

Level 2:

Designed for operatives with additional responsibilities for plant and people.

Mandatory Units - Candidates must demonstrate competence in:

Ensure their actions reduce risks to health and safety

Promote and maintain service delivery

In addition Candidates will also have to choose 5 optional units from an accredited list according to job responsibilities.
