Joint WAMITAB Level 4 Medium Risk Award and Level 3 Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety Practice
QSP are an accredited WAMITAB & City and Guilds assessment centre allowing us to offer a broad range of Waste Management and Health and Safety qualifications. We are one of only a few accredited centres which are able to deliver both awards.
Who is it for?
This BRAND NEW dual qualification is designed for those who require to gain a Medium Risk Operator Competence Certificate for facilities which handle for example: Non Hazardous Waste, End of Life or WEEE plus many more pathways; with the added bonus of a gaining a recognised Health and Safety Qualification
How does it work?
The assessment is undertaken at the candidate’s own site by a Joint Awarding Body approved Assessor. This causes minimum disruption to the candidate's day to day work load which can occur with alternative training programmes, where the candidate leaves site to be trained in a classroom setting. By undertaking both awards together, considerable time is saved due to the types of evidence required for both awards can be used across both ranges of units.
What will I gain?
On successful completion of this dual qualification, candidates are issued a WAMITAB Level 4 Diploma for the appropriate facility type along with a City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Health and Safety Practice; their portfolio which has recorded their achievement is also retained to keep as a reference.
