QSP Training – Manual Handling Training Course

The Manual Handling course from QSP Training provides learners with the knowledge and practical skills needed to lift, carry and move objects safely, reducing the risk of injury to themselves and others.

This course promotes awareness of safe manual handling techniques, explains how injuries occur, and highlights the importance of applying proper lifting practices in everyday work situations. Delegates will learn how to assess manual handling risks, use appropriate control measures, and apply good posture and technique to prevent accidents and musculoskeletal injuries.

By the end of the course, participants will understand both the legal and practical responsibilities surrounding manual handling and how to apply safe systems of work in their own environment.

Warehouse, logistics, and operations staff

Maintenance and facilities personnel

How is this Course Delivered?

Training can be delivered on-site at your company premises or at QSP Training’s fully equipped centre in Redditch.

The course runs as a half-day session and combines both theoretical and practical elements. Delegates complete a written and practical risk assessment to demonstrate their understanding and ability to handle loads safely.

What Will I Gain?

On completion of the course, delegates who complete the assessment will receive a Manual Handling Attendance Certificate from QSP Training.
