QSP Training Ltd offers a suite of CIWM (WAMITAB) Level 4 Lower Risk Operator Competence qualifications for professionals working in low‑risk waste management roles under the UK Environmental Permitting and Waste Management Licensing regulations. These awards form part of the WAMITAB Operator Competence Scheme and are aimed at individuals such as technically competent managers, site supervisors and waste consultants who need recognised competence for basic waste transfer, treatment and storage activities.
The lower risk qualifications include competence for non‑hazardous waste transfer and storage, non‑hazardous treatment to produce soil, inert waste storage and transfer, inert physical treatment, and construction waste management. Each qualification is assessed through a workplace‑based portfolio of evidence, demonstrating that the learner can safely and compliantly operate permitted activities in their normal work environment, helping support compliance, competence and career progression within the sector.
