Joint WAMITAB Level 4 High Risk Award and Level 5 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Practice
QSP are an accredited WAMITAB & City and Guilds assessment centre allowing us to offer a broad range of Waste Management and Health and Safety qualifications. We are one of only a few accredited centres which are able to deliver both awards.
Who is it For?
This BRAND NEW dual qualification is designed for those who require to gain a High Risk Operator Competence Certificate for facilities which handle for example: Hazardous Waste, Landfill or Clinical activities plus many more pathways. With the added bonus of a gaining a recognised Health and Safety Qualification. You should be responsible for developing and applying of health and safety procedures day-to-day in your organisation. You may be a staff member, supervisor or manager looking to improve your knowledge and skills.
How does it Work?
The assessment is undertaken at the candidate’s own site by a Joint Awarding Body approved Assessor. This causes minimum disruption to the candidate's day to day work load which can occur with alternative training programmes, where the candidate leaves site to be trained in a classroom setting. By undertaking both awards together, considerable time is saved due to the types of evidence required for both awards can be used across both ranges of units.
What will I Gain?
On successful completion of this dual qualification, candidates are issued a WAMITAB Level 4 Diploma/CoTC for the appropriate facility type along with a City & Guilds Level 5 Diploma in Health and Safety Practice; their portfolio which has recorded their achievement is also retained to keep as a reference.
